The support group for 2nd Northmead consists of parents and friends of the cubs, scouts and the group. Their role is fundraising and support to keep the group running. The Parent group organises meetings and attends working bees in and around the hall and grounds to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for the cubs and scouts The parent goup is also involved in promoting the group and making sure the community is aware of the existence of 2nd Northmead. The group is made up of a great bunch of people who care about the kids and assist the leaders wherever possible.

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month (during school terms) the support group have an informal meeting to organise fundraising etc. These meetings are held at the hall while the kids are having their scout meeting.
